I selected the technology tool Kahoot as a way to reinforce the content that has already been taught. Kahoot has ready-made games already created which makes it easier on me. The Kahoot quiz I chose for this lesson includes 18 questions and 1 video to refresh the student’s memory on the content that was already taught. I believe this is an effective way to incorporate technology because the content has already been taught and this is a way for students to review the material in an engaging way. Students could partner up or complete the assignment independently depending on the needs of the student and what the teacher is wanting. When students have finished the Kahoot, I can go back and look at common misconception’s students are having and reteach the following day to make sure there are no gaps in the students learning. 

 

One way to differentiate this activity is to allow students to partner up while they complete the review Kahoot. By partnering up a higher-level learning with a lower-level learner, the lower-level learner is receiving more support they made need. The Kahoot game can also be transferred into text to speech so that students who struggle with reading can understand the questions that are being asked. By providing a video into the Kahoot this also helps students who may struggle with reading. Since this activity does not require me to be teaching to the class, it gives me the opportunity to walk around and give one on one instruction to students who made need it.
